Prior to your first visit, we will contact your insurance company to determine which services your individual policy covers and at what percentage.
Even though we participate with many insurance companies such as United Concordia, Delta, MetLife, Guardian, and Aetna, your coverage will depend upon your individual policy and may not cover your treatment in full. We realize that dental insurance can be confusing. Coverage on policies from the same company can range from no coverage for certain procedures to complete coverage on others.
We do not participate in managed care plans due to the severe limitations they impose.
Though many of our patients qualify for managed care insurance, they have chosen our dental office with our wide range of options rather than have their dental care limited to rigid and restrictive coverage offered by these plans. We sincerely appreciate the confidence these patients show in us and their commitment to superior dental health.
We accept cash, checks, debit cards and most major credit cards. We also provide the opportunity to finance larger cases through outside sources.
Once your dental plan has been verified and your insurance coverage determined, arrangements for payment of non-covered services can be made in advance of your treatment. Otherwise, we expect payment at the time of service.
If you are concerned about your dental insurance or have questions pertaining to it, please do not hesitate to ask for assistance. We will be happy to help. Call us at 412.338.0678 or visit our Contact Us page.
